RAVELOQ started on a hard chair, at the end of a very long day.
Where it began
Like a lot of people, we spend most of our day sitting: at a desk, at the dining table, in the car. For a long time we told ourselves that feeling stiff and uncomfortable by the evening was just part of working life. We would sit less, we said. Take more breaks. Buy a better chair one day.
None of that happened. The chairs stayed the same, and the long days did too. So we started looking for something simple that would make the chairs we already owned more comfortable to sit on.
Trying more products than we would like to admit
We ordered cushion after cushion. Some went flat within a few weeks. Some slid around the seat every time we stood up. Some arrived with big promises on the box and almost no real information: no size, no material, no clear idea of what we had actually bought. And many of them cost far more than a cushion should.
The one we kept coming back to was the simplest: a contoured memory foam cushion, 40 × 34 × 8 cm, with a non-slip base and a cover that zips off and goes in the washing machine. It made our own long sitting days noticeably more comfortable. That cushion became the first RAVELOQ product.
The same idea, in the bathroom
The shower head came from the same habit of noticing the small things we use every single day. We compared a lot of shower heads before choosing one: a top-spray ceiling design with a built-in, replaceable filter cartridge, in Chrome or Black, with the standard G1/2 connection used by most UK shower arms and hoses.
We will not tell you it removes this or that from your water, because we do not have independent test results for it. We chose it because we like how it looks and how it feels to use, and we think you will too.
Comfort should not be a luxury
We believe small everyday comforts should be within reach for everyone, not only for people willing to pay designer prices. So we keep our range small, sell directly online, and keep our prices as fair as we can. Delivery is free to anywhere in the UK, and every order is tracked.
If something is not right for you, you have 30 days from delivery to send it back, for any reason. We would rather you try it at home and decide for yourself than buy on a promise.
